Decoy Panthers

Just a quick post today. Jon gave me 2 Panthers from the boxes of Plastic Soldier Company Panthers he picked up so I could paint them up for my Reds. Quite pleased with how they came out!

I missed that one! Thanks again Steven. Going to try blacklining my 8 Rads I think. :)

First of all, painting looks great! But, question of a historical nature. Did the Russians really put big red stars on the decoy tanks? If so... how are they decoys? I mean, there's a big red star on it.

Well they did put big red stars on them. Chances are, though, those tanks weren't used as "decoys", but rather just reconstituted tanks!

That being said, most things are identifiable by silhouette until you're much too close as well!

@Zsavk- good luck, let me know how it goes!

I digged watching these in action in the recent Bagration campaign report. I will definitely be getting a few. It's a nice excuse to buy a Tiger as well.

They look great. Adds a bit of variety to your soviet machine.
Cheers
