Afrika PzIII H Platoon by Dirty Jon

Luke got me a good deal on these at Historicon. I decided to give the Afrika paint scheme a try. I'll probably sell these at Fall In to avoid getting roped into another FoW Army.

I like those ALOT!

You used a heavy and hard applied drybrush to get the black camo pattern?

They look perfectly worn and dusty/dirty for a desert setting.

They look great. I like the drybrushed camo pattern as well. I recently experiemenetd with drybrushed camo to get the soft edged 'airbrushed' look and it work out well. It was time consuming [and a brush killer] but the finished effect was pretty good.

These look great! You can't sell these, everyone needs some DaK in their life.

Great job, love the weathering especially

Thanks guys! I was going for a weathered/rubbed off paint look, not camo - might have to alter the technique. I used drybrushing, as I'm too cheap to buy an airbrush.

Looks nice, but just to let you know the Balkenkreuz go on the hull sides except for the Polish campaign.

When Battlefront remastered their Panzer IIIs a few years ago, they made the hull sides too short to fit BF's standard decals. I ended up doing mine by hand, but you could try 12mm or 10mm decals.
