Yesterday this "handful" of miniatures arrived. 4 gigantic boxes sitting on my porch greeted me when I came home!

The boxes. My wife was confused at first. Actually, she's probably still confused why people would send us such an awesome amount of stuff :)

The contents of the box arrayed on my game table.

Board games, buildings, models, oh my!

A large amount of AFVs (both FoW and others)

A ton of rulebooks- I've always wanted to try Blitzkrieg Commander and now I have no excuse!

I've also always wanted a copy of Panzer Colors! It's like Christmas!

Very nicely detailed models of a Panzer III and an armored car. These will decorate the war room honorably :)

Firestorm Bagration and Conflict of Heroes, along with various smaller counter games.
I'm still sorting through stuff and figuring out what to do with it, but I do know a big chunk is going to go to the other WWPD guys who have worked hard to help me out with the podcast and whatnot. Some of it will likely go to contests and giveaways, and some of it will shamelessly go on my shelf :)
Anyhow- thanks again guys, it means a lot!
Again, please go check out View From the Turret! Solid guys: The View From the Turret

Generosity indeed. So generous in fact that I expect all your readers are now turning a nice shade of green!
I must admit- I was hesitant to post the pictures. I didn't want to come off as boastful- merely appreciative :)
Suffice it to say, there will be many contests soon to spread the generosity!
Love the fact that our readers & listeners will benefit !!!
Thanks so much to the guys at View from the Turret
I like the sound of contests to spread the wealth... That would be most big of you! I would like to have some contests myself, but that will have to wait until I have something worth giving away!
Well deserved surprise gifts for you Steve. Enjoy them!
Thanks guys!
Like I said, I'm not keeping much of it- a good chunk is going to Joe, Luke, Jon, and Brian as a way for me to say thank you to them for being driven and reliable :)
Aside from a handful of books the majority will be given away in future contests and the like.
It's good to see the old school pre-FOW Battlefront green boxes. You have to keep one of them boxed and put on the shelf.
yeah, those are real old-skool BF figs!
BkC is a quick and easy ruleset to get. And with your collection you can battle your to your hearts content with that ruleset. And for a non-FOW miniature rule set, it's forums are quite busy. The author is very quick to respond to posters.
