WWPD News From the Front Episode 6!

WWPD News From the Front- Episode 6 "D-Day Extravaganza!"
-Steven, and Joe return with another new Podcaster- Luke! The gang dives in on the new D-Day book with an in-depth look at all the new stuff! They also interview Shawn Morris (The Terrain Guy), discuss terrain, and do a quick review of Stalin's Europe. This episode is very FOW-centric- be advised! Steven also rambles on just a bit after having a few too many, but the gang settles in and has a good time.

I enjoyed this one immensely: good interview with Shawn, I'm really looking forward to LW Hungarians (even though mine are more for MW) and of course the Normandy review was great. Can't wait for new lists for my Pz. Lehr and Commandos.

Hey, great that Luke's on the cast now! Tell him I got the bocage I bought from him out on the table last weekend and it looked great! I am a satisfied customer!

I realized while listening to you guys' cast that those were Luke's. They look great! Good buy. I'll be sure to point Luke in that direction!

Excellent show - this episode was a marked improvement. I may just have to add the D-Day book to my "sons" Christmas list!

Well done

Thanks Miles- I really think you'll (er... he'll) be impressed with the book!

Hello -- A really good show. I just discovered the podcast about a week ago and I have been catching up.

The review of the D-Day books was very informative, I had thought that the D-Day compilation was going to be a bit of a money grab from Battefront (but was planning to buy it anyway).

As a Soviet player, I am looking forward to the SU-100 (I am not sure how often I will take it -- as you said the ROF 1 makes it weak) but the high AT can be useful against certain german players

Glad you enjoyed it Duncan! Thanks for listening :)

The D-Day book is definitely not cheap, but I think it's worth the price, hands down.

I don't play on the east front all too often, and when I do I'm usually on the axis side... but ROF 1 vs vets is just so horrible in my opinion. That being said, against Panzer IVs and even Stugs the SU-100 may be a real beast.

Let me know how you do with them!
