Some recent painting (Desert Brits and Italians)

Just some recent painting I've gotten done over the last two weeks or so.

Some Matildas.

British 6 Pounders.

Italian Demolishers

Bersaglieri Mortars.

Not too spectacular but all solid support choices just to add to my options!

Maybe in your words not too spectacular but they do look good.

Sharp looking as always. I think the little touches you add are what I enjoy the most about your minis. The individual names on the British tanks (and all starting with A no less) really adds personality.

I don't know why but I am struggling to do a decent job on any armor I paint. I mean, my tanks don't look like crap but they are just average. For some reason, my infantry just turn out better (in my opinion).

Keep up the painting blogs. They really help out the rookie painters out there, me being one of them.

Thanks Jared, I appreciate it!

What do you think isn't working with your armor? Don't sell yourself short- the stuff I've seen of yours looks really good.

I definitely take a hard line stance on my armor. I trade any semblance of realism for tabletop beauty. The heavy blacklining looks great at a distance- it also means I rarely use inks or washes on my armor.

I finished a KV-1e a couple of days ago to use as a looted Panzer platoon. I'll take some pics and post them and detail what I don't like. Maybe you guys can offer some insight. :)

Do it up! I need to pick one of those up- so far I have a Captured T-34, T-34/85, and a sherman. It's fun running captured Panzers :)
