Introducing Romulus and Remus.

This post is dedicated to Chuck Carey. Way back when we were first getting into Flames of War (5? 6 years ago?), Chuck manned up and played the Italians since everyone else had pretty much been spoken for. I always wanted an Italian army of my own and finally I'm just about done with that.

Chuck's Lancias were a unit that inspired terror for my tanks, and finally I can field some of my own.

Without further ado, I'd like to introduce you to Romulus and Remus, twin scourges of the desert!

A few more after the break!

Those are some nice painted Italians. Like the flag and bases. Too bad i live too far away to beat the crap out of them. ;)

Good job, Steve. Brings back fond memories of our early days in FOW when we were still playing 1st ed. rules and the biggest gun on the table (at least at first) was an HMG. The Lancias were one of the reasons I took up the Eyeties, mostly cuz they look so cool. They were quite a lot more powerful in 1st ed cuz they could move and shoot, and their gun shield protected them when they moved. Mine had names, too, but I don't remember what they were. Mine were quite a bit more yellow, too :) Thanks for the post.
